When does the course start and finish?
The course starts now and never ends! It is a completely self-paced online course - you decide when you start and when you finish.
How long do I have access to the course?
How does lifetime access sound? After enrolling, you have unlimited access to this course for as long as you like - across any and all devices you own. All additional elements of the program, as well as program updates after one year, will require a yearly fee in order to stay current.
Is there only a one-time cost associated with the program?
All of the Momentum Masters trainings and resources are yours for life once you purchase the program. All of the additional elements of the program (personalized web page, customized instructor jersey, etc.) will require a yearly fee in order to stay current, as well as any additional elements of the trainings that we add on over time. However, your program fee entitles you to every element of the program for one year.
Once I purchase the program, can I immediately start working as a guide?
The pre-requisites before you can begin taking bookings are as follows: - PMBIA or IMBA certification - Successful completion of all Momentum Masters trainings - Background Check completed successfully - Wilderness First Aid (with CPR) training certification - In-person call - Strava routes approved
What is the difference between Momentum Masters and Kingdom Cycling & Experiences?
Good question! Momentum Masters is the training program that allows you to work as a mountain bike instructor, wherever you are. Once you successfully complete all elements of the program, you become a working Kingdom Cycling & Experiences guide!
How do I get paid as a guide?
You get paid based on the number of bookings you receive, as well as the number of clients that you have per booking (never more than a 5:1 client to instructor ratio, of course!) Inside your course, we have an easy to follow pay breakdown info sheet. The longer you stay with us, the more you will be paid per booking.
Is Momentum Masters only for people who can instruct or guide full time?
No! We have many guides who work part time, or even less than part time (a few events or tours per season) based on their schedules. We want this program to work for YOU - so however much you can commit to is fine by us!
